We are as committed to sharing our land, food and resources with as many people as possible.

One of our current projects is called Soil Connections. This is a weekly group for asylum seekers, refugees, migrants or anyone affected by the asylum system in the UK. Sessions take place from 9.30am-1pm on Thursday at the Sims Hill farm in Frenchay, Bristol. We will work together to grow vegetables, learn more about farming processes and will have lunch together afterwards.
We will reimburse any travel costs up to (£10) and the lunch provided will be free.
If you are interested in referring someone or would like to come along, please contact us via our email: simshillsharedharvest@gmail.com
We also support members of the project to take on a training plot on our site and develop this throughout the season, and this year we have managed to secure funding for a paid role for a previous member of soil connections to work at Sims Hill as a seasonal grower.
