Find us
We grow on two sites and we deliver to seven pick up points around the city. You can see all our locations on the map.
Growing sites
We rent a large greenhouse and small field on the Grow Wilder site, and also a larger field (The Big Field) which is 15 mins walk away.
Grow Wilder site
If we are organising volunteers, events or meetings we almost always meet at the Grow WIlder part of our site. Please make sure to check any arrangement and if you aren’t sure, try the Grow Wilder site first as it’s much easier to get to!
Directions to Grow Wilder
Grow Wilder is located on the corner Frenchay Park Rd and Stoke Lane in Stapleton, BS16 1HB. The entrance is by the traffic lights on Frenchay Park Road. There is a small amount of car parking available, but where possible it’s great if people can use a more sustainable way of popping by. There is plenty of bike parking, and bus stops very close to the entrance, served by: 16, 18, 18A, 48A, 46, 626 and A3.
The Big Field
The larger part of our site is located on Frenchay Holdings, Stoke Lane, Frenchay, Bristol. The ordnance survey map details for the site are described here (pdf).
Directions to The Big Field
The big field is not accessible by car, but you can access it on footpaths from Cassons Drive, or Stoke Lane (Warning: from Autumn 2016 the Stoke Lane track is locked and gated at the entrance due to the roadworks, Cassons Drive is still accessible).
From Cassons Drive: On Stoke Lane opposite Cassons Drive there is a right of way. Follow this through the fields and downhill through woodland. This will bring you out onto Sims Hill Shared Harvest.
From Stoke Lane: On the west side of the motorway bridge on Stoke Lane, there is a gated track heading north. Go down here and walk for ten minutes. The track opens out into a field, Sims Hill Shared Harvest.
Hope to see you there!
Hi there, I’m contacting you from aid box community (asylum seeker and refugee free shop Bristol) we have a service user who lives in Bristol who would absolutely love to help grow vegetables and herbs. He lives in Filton which I believe isn’t far from you. Is there any chance he could help at all?
Many thanks
