Help us grow the Sims Hill Community this Spring
It’s Isobel here, your new Recruitment Manager calling – excited to make 2015 the year that we grow our membership just as well as we grow our veg!
This Easter Holiday we will be popping up with a Plant Potting Picnic at two great springtime events to talk about how much we love Sims Hill… and provide seed-sewing satisfaction for young and old.
Members: your help is needed to make these events super special and to help us invite more friends into the Sims Hill community.
– Book your space as a volunteer so we know how many helpers to expect by emailing Isobel: isobelpumpkin@gmail.com – say which event(s) you want to help at. All currently need more volunteers!
– If you can’t commit then come along to the event to say hello to some of your fellow members
– After each event there will be a chance for a little get-together for members and non-members
28th March Wild Outdoors Day – Windmill Hill City Farm 12-4pm
Lucky us! We get to enjoy this fantastic event and talk about our lovely veg while sewing seeds. Bliss.
Afterwards we’ll go to the Rope Walk pub around the corner on Nelsons Parade for a cheerful Sims Hill Sunday drink. Members and non-members welcome!
7th April – Pop up at St Werburghs City Farm 11am-3pm
Afterwards we can bask in the sunny Farm Pub garden nextdoor. Members and non-members welcome!
Other events TBC
– If you can’t make the two dates above, there will be more, so get in touch with Isobel anyway to go on a ‘Recruitment Volunteers’ list, to be sure you get your invite to the next one! isobelpumpkin@gmail.com
