Next open members’ meeting 26 June: Better Ways to Do the Business of Food in Bristol

Sims Hill Shared Harvest presents:

Better Ways to Do the Business of Food in Bristol with guest speakers Joy Carey and Ciaran Mundy

June 26th 7.30pm at Horfield Meeting House, 300 Gloucester Road, BS7 8PD. See map.

New food systems are emerging. They are local, natural and deeply in touch with community life and a sign of a new future for the business of food. This evening we welcome:

  • Joy Carey to tell us more about the potential for sourcing food locally
  • Ciaran Mundy, to introduce the Bristol pound and tell us what it could mean for Sims Hill and other primary producers in the area
  • and our own Sims Hill team of Tim, James and Bobbie to explore how community growing projects like Sims Hill map into the future of food in the city.

This is a members meeting that is open to others so please bring any friends who might be interested.
